About The Preacher

As described in the New Testament, I am simply a Christian, a disciple (learner) of Jesus Christ, and a member of the Lord’s body which is the church. In view of our Lord’s prayer for unity (John 17:20-21) and the apostle Paul’s condemnation of division (1 Cor. 1:10-13), I reject denominational distinctions and all forms of sectarianism.

My desire is to imitate what Peter stated in (1 Peter 4:11a) – “If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God...”. My hope is that all would do so, and be fair minded as the Bereans were (Acts 17:11).

Preaching and being associated with many churches and individuals for many years has been a great opportunity in my life.

The Noblesville church of Christ, a small congregation in Noblesville, Indiana, is where I presently preach. If you live in this area or surrounding areas, we would love to have you worship with us.

Regardless what some may teach, you can be “a christian only.” The Lord wouldn’t say that you could unless it is possible. Being a faithful christian ultimately leads to having an eternal home in heaven (cf. Rev. 21:1-7).

Married 35 years with two sons, I am 60 years old. A graduate of Connersville High School in 1967 and a Navy veteran, I attended Ball State University and Fort Wayne Business School. Reading, hunting and computers are things I enjoy (to the extent that time allows).

My aim is that this short article may be informative and answer any questions you might have.

May God bless you in Him!

"Looking for the blessed hope..." Titus 2:13
